The Grand Electric shimmied her way onto the Sydney theatre scene in January 2023, grabbing headlines with three back-to-back sell-out seasons of Blanc de Blanc Encore. Ideally situated on the edge of Surry Hills and Redfern and masterfully styled with original Parisian murals by Max Elbourne, our unique and versatile venue is suitable for a whole host of events.
“The theatre space itself feels like it’s ripped straight out of Paris’ Moulin Rouge district. There’s dazzling lights of every colour, a bar in the back with a substantial stock of champagne, and hard wooden floors that reverberate a playlist featuring everything from jazz to rap.” Scenstr
The elegant indoor bar offers a great selection of wine, beer, champagne and signature cocktails while the art-filled courtyard bar gives guests a space to mingle.
The Grand Electric Bar offers a range of casual bar snacks (potato chips, pretzels etc). For events requiring more a substantial food offering, canapé catering can be arranged.
“I thought I had been transported to a hip New York club or had lost myself in some underground Paris parlour.” Stage Whispers
