TICKET TERMS & CONDITIONS

About these Conditions

 

These terms and conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and Strut & Fret (the Venue) for the use and sale of tickets. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

Summary

  1. Strut & Fret sells and issues tickets to all shows at The Grand Electric using the Moshtix ticketing system (moshtix.com.au).
  2. All ticket sales are final. Strut & Fret will not refund or cancel any ticket except as required by law.
  3. Ticket exchanges may be permitted under special conditions, at the discretion of the venue.
  4. Strut & Fret reserves the right to add, withdraw, reschedule and/or vary advertised shows, prices, seating arrangements and audience capacity. If the listed ticket price is discounted after you purchase your ticket, you will not be entitled to a refund. If a show is cancelled, your ticket may be exchanged or refunded via the point of sale.
  5. In the event of a performance cancellation, every effort will be made to inform ticket holders. Strut & Fret collect your information in case of an event cancellation or amendment. If you fail to supply sufficient contact details, Strut & Fret are not responsible for failure to contact you.
  6. If you do not receive an order confirmation after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm that your order has been placed. Strut & Fret is not responsible for any losses you incur if you assume that an order was successfully placed having not received confirmation.
  7. If an error in ticket pricing occurs, Strut & Fret may cancel and refund your ticket sold at the incorrect price.
  8. Where concessions are applicable, suitable and valid identification must be provided for collection of tickets and entry to the venue. Failure or refusal to provide valid proof of concession may result in non-admittance.
  9. Ticket holders enter the venue at their own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strut & Fret will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising from a pre-existing medical condition or breach of these conditions.
  10. Strut & Fret prohibits the use of audio and visual recording equipment in all of its venues, unless expressly authorised by the venue.
  11. Mobile phones and other electronic devices must be switched off or silenced during all performances.
  12. No drugs, weapons, glass containers, alcohol or lasers may be taken into The Grand Electric.
  13. Your ticket may not, without the prior written consent of Strut & Fret, be resold or used for advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the ticket bearer may be refused admission to the show.
  14. By purchasing tickets to a Grand Electric event, ticketholders consent to Strut & Fret or third parties it appoints or approves of photographing, filming and taping them at the venue. Strut & Fret or such third parties may broadcast, publish, license and use any photographs, film, recordings and images of ticketholders without compensation. Strut & Fret, such third parties and anyone acquiring from them a right to use the material are not liable to a ticketholder in any way for its use.
  15. Listed ticket prices include GST if applicable but do not include variable transaction fees that are applied to each purchase.
  16. To the extent permitted by law, Strut & Fret’s liability to you will be limited to the price of your ticket plus any transaction fees.
  17. Advertised start times and running times of the shows are a guide only and are subject to change.
  18. If you are late to a show, the Venue staff may refuse to admit you unless there is a suitable break in the performance. In these circumstances, you will not be entitled to a refund.
  19. Ticketholders may be required to produce their ticket(s) as proof of authorised entry at any time.
  20. Strut & Fret accept Companion Cards for all performances. A valid Companion Card or Companion Card number must be produced at the time of booking.
  21. No children, including babes in arms are permitted to Restricted 18+ performances.
  22. Prices are subject to change without notice.
  23. The Grand Electric is a licensed venue. In the interest of all people attending, Strut & Fret promotes responsible service and consumption of alcohol at all times. All patrons must adhere to The Grand Electric’s policies and abide by the relevant liquor licensing regulations. They must respect The Grand Electric’s bar staff in their duty to uphold The Grand Electric’s service and safety policies. Patrons are reminded that it is an offence to supply alcohol to a minor, bring alcohol into or from a licensed premises, consume alcohol if intoxicated and to remain on licensed premises if intoxicated.
  24. The Grand Electric Venue staff may refuse entry or evict a ticket holder if they compromise the health, safety or welfare of staff with aggressive or abusive behaviour, or if they are causing a disturbance to other patrons, the performer, or the show in general.
  25. Strut & Fret respects the privacy of its patrons and strictly adheres to the principles of the Privacy Act 1988. Our Privacy Policy can be viewed on our website.
  26. Without prejudice to any other rights which Strut & Fret may have, if you contravene any of these Terms or Conditions, you may:
    1. be refused entry to, or remove from, the venue;
    2. have you ticket confiscated and/or cancelled without refund or recompense; and
    3. be disqualified from purchasing tickets for or entering into other events

 

In the event that you are refused entry to an event for any reason, then, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, no refund will be paid.
